Tusket Islands
The Tusket Islands lie south west of mainland Wedgeport, Nova Scotia. They are only accessible via boat. The Tusket Islands are full of history on subjects ranging from lobster and tuna fishing, World War II spies, shipwrecks, buried treasure, and much more.
Highlights of the Tusket Island Tours:

Picturesque Smuggler’s Cove Provincial Park sits atop stunning coastal cliffs. It features several viewing platforms, along with a set of steps that lead down to the ocean. Interpretive panels explain why the cove was an ideal spot for smugglers during Prohibition.

Skyline Trail – Cape Breton Highlands National Park
A dramatic headland cliff overlooks the rugged coast from the end of this level trail. You can enjoy an eagle's view of the Cabot Trail as it winds its way down the mountain and vehicles look like toys. Watch for whales in the Gulf of St. Lawrence from the viewing decks. Moose, bald eagles, bears and numerous boreal birds live in this habitat.
Trail highlights:
- Hike this easy, flat, looping seven-kilometre trail.
- Learn along the way with the help of on-site interpretive panels.
- Discover the local wildlife and take in an impressive view of the Cabot Trail.

Cape Split Provincial Park
Cape Split Provincial Park is a 447-hectare natural environment park located in Scots Bay, Kings County. The park is considered a provincially significant coastal landmark overlooking the Bay of Fundy and is a popular hiking spot.
