The Halifax Public Gardens
Did you know that the Halifax Public Gardens are home to more than 140 species of trees and that the 16 acres are one of the few Victorian gardens still in existence in Canada? It was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1984 and is considered a vivid example of traditional landscaping and Victorian garden plantings.
